The Grand Ducal Police are intensifying their controls on heavy goods vehicles. Last Wednesday the road Police controlled the vehicles on the A6 Luxembourg – Arlon highway. Today Friday the Police were interested in trucks that use the national highway N7 crossing the country from the northern tip of the country (Belgian border) to Luxembourg and serving the A7 motorway, very popular with heavy goods vehicles in transit, ie which do not load or unload in Luxembourg. This national N7 allows trucks not to pay tolls on motorways of neighbouring countries.
