After the seizure of drugs by Luxembourg Customs and Excise last week, the Grand Ducal Police announced today a major seizure of hashish (cannabis resin), marijuana, cocaine and ecstasy.
After several months of investigations and a series of raids in the South and East of Luxembourg, the investigation led by the Criminal Investigation and Search Service (SREC) of Grevenmacher allowed on March 12, 2018 the seizure of 15, 3 kilograms of hashish, 2.8 kilograms of marijuana, 100 grams of cocaine and nearly 200 ecstasy pills. Add to the seizure of drugs the sum of 17,000 euros in cash, 3 cars and more than 10 cell phones were confiscated. Three men and three women were arrested and presented to an examining magistrate.
On the 13th of March, the Police announce the arrest of a dealer Avenue de la Gare in Luxembourg-Gare during a foot patrol. This time, 14.9 grams of marijuana, a cell phone and a small amount of money were seized. The arrested man was also presented to an examining magistrate.
