Shortly before 3 pm an attacker launched his ram car on the pavement of the Westminster Bridge making 12 wounded, continued his route to Parliament and plowed into the gates of Parliament. Out of the car the assailant attacked a policeman with the knife, the policeman is wounded. The terrorist was shot dead by other police officers.
Witnesses indicate the presence of bodies in the Thames.
A suspicious package alert was also launched, the parcel in a car in front of Parliament.
16:35 – The parliament is still closed, the parliamentarians are present inside and the Prime Minister, the meeting of questions to the Prime Minister as every Wednesday is suspended.
17:00 – Police investigate what they now officially call a “terrorist incident”. Parliament is searched piece by piece by the security forces to ensure no suspicious presence.
