An elderly driver in a vehicle with Dutch license plates was hiding in the traffic of cross-border workers (commuters). The operation of control made it possible to identify on the back seat of the vehicle a “Moroccan suitcase”, bundles of cannabis packaged in burlap. The cannabis was also hidden in the trunk of the car and scattered in other hiding places.

The goods from the Netherlands were destined to France, its resale value is of the order of euros 1 300 000.

The man was arrested, the vehicle and drugs seized.

This seizure comes after several recent successes of  Luxembourg Customs, the seizure of contraband cigarettes and a large amount of marijuana.
